Playing around with taking pictures

Carrie Lobman and Cathy L. Stewart welcomed about a dozen participants (author included) to their photography workshop to play with how we look at the world around us. They showed us shots taken by great photographers and deconstructed what worked well. Then they turned us loose and asked us to peer into some unusual places, play with visual ironies, layer and paint, and be wildly experimental.
