Institute welcomes Jackie Salit for a conversation on democracy and development

Jackie Salit keynotes national conference of independents

The Institute’s Lois Holzman, Christine LaCerva and Rafael Mendez welcome Independent Voting’s chief political strategist, Jacqueline Salit, for a conversation “from the fringe” on politics, culture, emotionality and development. Salit is the author of the upcoming, Independents Rising.

Entitled, Independent Minded: the Inner Workings of Outsider Politics, the Friday, December 2, event brings together one of the nation’s leading voices on independent politics with a panel of developmentalists in psychology and psychotherapy to discuss democracy (and development) in America. What conceptual and methodological tools are necessary to transform our political culture? What growing do we need to do as Americans? Is independent politics therapeutic?  Register here.
